Description

Cliffs valley is a 1,500 acre master-planned community, situated in a lush valley at the front range of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The private community features nearly 850 homesites along the valley floor as well as two mountain slopes with elevation up to 2,800 feet.

Location

Cliffs Valley is just off highway 25 in Northern Greenville County, 15 miles north of Greenville, SC. Interstate 26
is 13 miles to the north via Highway 25. Hendersonville, NC is 14 miles north of Cliffs Valley. The Greenville/Spartanburg Airport is just 18 miles away with most major airlines offering service.

Schools

Cliffs Valley is in the Greenville County School System, which has the highest ranking in South Carolina. Slater Elementary serves Kindergarten through 5th grade. Northwest middle school is for 6th through 8th grade. 9th through 12th grades attend Travelers Rest High School. The region also has a wide variety of private schools as well as four major universities within driving distance.

Recreational Facilities

The Cliffs Valley golf course was nominated as one of the best new courses in 1996 by Golf Digest Magazine. the British links style course is designed by golf commentator and historian, Ben Wright. The Course meanders through the valley crossing over several streams and creeks. Just 12 miles away is The Cliffs At Glassy course, ranked in the top ten most beautiful golf courses in the Nation. This is mountain top golf at its best. Or you may choose to play our newest course, The Cliffs At Keowee Vineyards. This Tom Fazio course is planned for opening in late 1999 or early 2000. Club fees, initiation and dues are determined by the membership program you choose.

The Cliffs Valley clubhouse is planned for the highest point on the golf course to afford a spectacular panoramic view of the nearby mountains. The club will offer fine dining as well as a casual grill for meals after a round of golf. A completely stocked pro shop will complement this facility.

The Fitness, Swim and Tennis Center is scheduled to begin construction in 1998. There will be a large number of lighted tennis courts with several playing surfaces to choose from. The pool will be designed to accommodate lap swimmers as well as recreational swimmers.

Hiking is very popular in the area with miles of nearby trails that provide mountain vistas and wind past waterfalls. You may choose to hike at Cliffs Valley or at nearby Table Rock State park with hundreds of miles of trails.
