Homesite average over an acre in size with larger estate lots available. Prices will range from $50,000 to $500,000.

1. Contact the architectural review committee (ARC) and make an appointment to look at your property and placement of your house. During this meeting, the ARC will explain the review and approval process and help you to achieve site/structure compatibility. ARC telephone number is (864) 895-6055.

2. Select an architect and/or builder. The ARC has a list of builders who have constructed homes at The Cliffs, and will furnish if you desire.

3. Review with your architect or builder the photographs on this page. These homes were approved by the ARC and will give you examples of desired site/structure compatibility.

4. Develop two sets of construction drawings, including a site plan, and front, back and side elevations.

5. Attend, with your architect or builder, a preliminary review with the architectural review committee.

6. At this preliminary review, you will be given sets of color charts showing combinations of colors that have been approved for use at the cliffs.

7. Attend, with your architect or builder, a final review with the architectural review committee.

8. Upon approval of your plans, a Cliffs building permit will be issued to you. This permit will include the start date and completion date.
