Climate

The unique location and topography of The Cliffs at Glassy benefits directly from the region's moderate climate. During the summer, the 3,000 feet of elevation keeps daily temperatures 6 to 9 degrees cooler than in the flatlands just below. the elevation also maintains the average humidity level comfortably below fifty percent. Winter temperatures are moderated by a thermal belt that snugs up against the east side of Glassy Mountain, with mountains north and west blocking out most cold air masses.

Golf Amenities

The big threesome (Cypress Pointe, Pebble Beach, and Augusta National) now have a fourth. Golf Digest magazine recently named The Cliffs at Glassy as the fourth most beautiful golf course in America.
